Another big anti-president protest In Ukraine, now with flares: Stop Capitulation!

Another big anti-president protest In Ukraine, now with flares: Stop Capitulation! On October 14, 2019, another big protest against capitulative actions of Ukraine’s new president Zelensky took place in Kyiv and several other big Ukrainian cities.

In addition to signing the capitulative Steinmeier Formula, Zelensky announced that he plans to withdraw Ukrainian troops from villages located near the front line with Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine. This announcement angered veterans who fought for those pieces of land and lost their friends in that war. No need to say that civilians who would be left behind in those villages are not happy either.

By now there are 370,000 veterans in Ukraine who fought with Russia in eastern Ukraine since 2014. That’s 1.5 times more than the number of soldiers in Ukraine’s regular army controlled by the commander in chief Zelensky. Taking into account that October 14 is also Ukraine’s Defenders’ Day, the perspective of getting his ass kicked by the angry crowd of veterans looked very real to Zelensky.
Zelensky even asked everyone to refrain from violence.
